What XpressPurge Can Do

  • Hide posts by keyword, phrase, account handle, link domain, media/post content type, or low engagement.
  • Boost matching posts with a local visual highlight.
  • Snooze matching content temporarily.
  • Use Show-only mode to keep matching posts visible and hide everything else.
  • Group rules into presets and toggle them from Options or the toolbar popup.
  • Use the flame button on detected posts to create quick account or keyword rules.
  • Train reviewed rules from a post or from Smart Rules suggestions after explicit opt-in.
  • See local analytics for hidden posts by day, rule, preset, category, account, and local hour.
  • Export and import your local configuration.
  • Use optional browser sync in Pro for rules, presets, active presets, filtering state, hide behavior, and Show-only mode.
  • Activate Pro on this browser with a one-time code from your XpressPurge account page.

Local-First Privacy Model

XpressPurge works locally by default. Rules, presets, settings, hidden-log entries, and analytics are stored in your browser.

Smart Rules feed history is opt-in, capped, and clearable. Browser sync never includes feed history, hidden-log previews, or analytics events.

Free filtering does not require an account. Pro checkout and license management happen on the XpressPurge website, and the extension stores only the local entitlement and billing state needed to verify Pro on this browser.
