Terms of Service

Last updated: May 28, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of XpressPurge, including our browser extension, website, paid plans, account features, support, and related services (together, the "Service").

Please read these Terms carefully. By installing, accessing, purchasing, or using XpressPurge, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

XpressPurge is operated by:

Krzysztof Woźniczek - IT services
ul. Graniczna 2ea/19
54-610 Wrocław, Poland
NIP: 6391914982

Email: chris@xpresspurge.com

Website: xpresspurge.com

In these Terms, "XpressPurge", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator listed above. "You" and "your" refer to the person or entity using the Service.

2. What XpressPurge Does

XpressPurge is a browser extension that helps users control their experience on X by locally filtering, hiding, boosting, snoozing, organizing, and analyzing posts according to user-created rules and presets.

XpressPurge includes, depending on your plan and settings:

  • local post filtering rules for keywords, accounts, post content types, engagement levels, and link domains;
  • presets for grouping rules;
  • "Show-only" mode, which keeps matching posts visible and hides other posts when enabled;
  • visual boost indicators for matching posts;
  • temporary snoozes;
  • local analytics showing how many posts were hidden or boosted by rules and presets;
  • local hidden-post logs with limited metadata;
  • import and export of local configuration;
  • optional browser sync for selected settings, rules, and presets;
  • optional paid account, license activation, billing, and device management features.

The Service is intended to personalize your own browser experience. It does not publish content, send posts, follow accounts, like posts, repost posts, or act on X on your behalf.

3. Relationship With X

XpressPurge is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by X Corp., Twitter, Grok, or any related company.

You are responsible for complying with the terms, policies, and rules of X and any website where you use the extension. We do not control X, and X may change its website, layout, policies, or technical behavior at any time. Such changes may affect whether XpressPurge works correctly.

4. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you can form a legally binding agreement under applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

The Service is not directed to children under 16. If your local law requires a higher age for consent to use online services, that higher age applies.

5. Local-First Design

XpressPurge is designed to work locally by default. Filtering rules, presets, local analytics, and hidden-post logs are stored in your browser unless you choose an optional sync or account feature.

Some features require network communication, including:

  • paid plan checkout and billing;
  • Supabase magic-link authentication;
  • license activation and entitlement refresh;
  • billing portal and device management;
  • optional browser sync, if enabled.

Our Privacy Policy explains what data is processed locally and what data may be sent to service providers.

6. Free and Pro Plans

XpressPurge may offer Free, Pro Monthly, Pro Yearly, and Lifetime plans.

The Free plan currently includes core local filtering with limits, including starter presets and rules, a limited number of custom rules and presets, a limited number of values per rule, local import/export, and basic local operation.

Pro plans may unlock features such as unlimited rules and presets, boost rules, snooze rules, Show-only mode, advanced rule logic, full analytics dashboard, browser sync, popup customization, shared filter packs if available, and priority support flags or other paid features.

We may add, change, rename, limit, or remove features from time to time. If we materially reduce paid functionality during an active paid term, we will handle your rights according to applicable law.

7. Purchases, Merchant of Record, Taxes, and Invoices

Paid purchases are processed by Creem, operated by Armitage Labs OÜ, as merchant of record. This means Creem may be the seller of record for paid transactions, process payments, calculate and collect applicable VAT, GST, sales tax, or similar taxes, issue invoices or receipts, manage payment compliance, and provide payment-related customer portal functionality.

You may be asked to provide billing information directly to Creem. We do not store your full payment card details.

Prices, taxes, currencies, and available payment methods may vary by region and may be shown at checkout before payment.

8. Subscriptions, Renewals, Cancellation, and Lifetime Access

Monthly and yearly Pro plans are subscription plans. Unless cancelled before renewal, subscriptions may renew automatically according to the checkout terms shown by Creem.

You may cancel a subscription through the billing portal, through links provided after purchase, or by contacting support. Cancellation usually stops future renewals but does not necessarily refund the current billing period unless required by law or stated in the checkout/refund policy.

Lifetime access means access to the paid XpressPurge extension features for the lifetime of the product, subject to these Terms, technical availability, platform changes, abuse prevention, and our continued operation of the Service. Lifetime access does not guarantee that X, browser stores, browser APIs, third-party providers, or all online features will remain unchanged or available forever.

9. Refunds and Consumer Rights

Refund availability may depend on your location, plan type, checkout terms, and applicable consumer protection laws.

Where mandatory law gives you cancellation, withdrawal, refund, repair, replacement, or other consumer rights, those rights apply. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

For digital content or digital services made available immediately after purchase, you may be asked during checkout to consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that any statutory withdrawal right may be affected where permitted by law.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact chris@xpresspurge.com with your purchase email and order details. Payment-related refunds may be processed through Creem.

10. Account, License Activation, and Device Limits

Paid features may require an account, Supabase magic-link authentication, a one-time extension activation code, and periodic license refresh.

To reduce abuse and unauthorized sharing, paid plans may be limited to a reasonable number of active devices. Current limits are:

  • Monthly or yearly Pro: up to 3 active devices;
  • Lifetime: up to 5 active devices.

We may allow you to revoke old devices and activate new ones. You must not share activation codes, refresh tokens, accounts, or paid access with people outside your own personal or authorized organizational use.

We may suspend or downgrade access if we reasonably believe a license is being shared, resold, abused, fraudulently obtained, refunded, disputed, charged back, or used in violation of these Terms.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or bypass license checks except where allowed by mandatory law;
  • sell, sublicense, rent, share, or commercially exploit your license without our written permission;
  • use the Service to violate X's terms or third-party rights;
  • interfere with or overload our website, Supabase backend, Creem integration, or related infrastructure;
  • attempt to access another user's account, license, device activation, or data;
  • upload, import, or distribute malicious configuration files or shared packs;
  • remove, obscure, or alter product notices, branding, or license indicators.

12. User Configuration and Content

You control the rules, presets, keywords, handles, domains, imported files, and local configuration that you create or import into XpressPurge.

You are responsible for ensuring that your rules and imported configurations are lawful and appropriate for your use. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on filtered, hidden, boosted, or missed content.

If shared filter packs become available, they may be provided by us or by third parties. We may moderate, remove, reject, or disable shared packs at our discretion.

13. Diagnostics and Support

The extension may include a diagnostic export feature. Diagnostic exports are designed to help troubleshoot selector and compatibility issues and should not include private post content. You choose whether to generate and share diagnostics.

If you send diagnostics, screenshots, logs, support emails, or other information to us, you grant us permission to use that information to provide support, debug, improve, and secure the Service.

14. Browser Stores and Third-Party Services

Your use of the extension may also be subject to terms and policies of browser stores and browser providers, including Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Edge Add-ons, Firefox Add-ons, Brave, Google, Mozilla, Microsoft, or others.

The Service also relies on third-party providers, including Supabase for backend, authentication, database, and edge-function infrastructure, and Creem for checkout, payment, tax, invoicing, and merchant-of-record services.

We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, but we choose providers with the goal of operating the Service securely and reliably.

15. Changes to the Service

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We may also release browser-specific builds or remove support for browsers or platforms where technical, legal, or store-policy constraints make support impractical.

We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but XpressPurge depends on browser extension APIs and the structure of X's website, both of which can change without our control.

16. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, website, design, branding, logos, documentation, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use XpressPurge for your personal or internal business use.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Service or any intellectual property rights to you.

17. Feedback

If you provide ideas, suggestions, bug reports, feature requests, or other feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to you. We are not required to treat feedback as confidential.

18. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that:

  • the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
  • filtering decisions will always be accurate;
  • every unwanted post will be hidden;
  • every wanted post will remain visible;
  • analytics will be complete or perfectly accurate;
  • XpressPurge will remain compatible with X or every browser version;
  • paid features will be immune from outages caused by third-party providers.

You use the Service at your own risk. You remain responsible for reviewing important content directly on X or other websites when needed.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, missed content, business interruption, or third-party platform changes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will be limited to the greater of:

  • the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
  • EUR 50.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, or mandatory consumer rights.

20. Indemnity

If you use the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or violation of third-party rights.

This section applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and may not apply to consumers where prohibited by law.

21. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • you violate these Terms;
  • your payment is refunded, charged back, disputed, reversed, or fraudulent;
  • your subscription expires or is cancelled;
  • your use creates legal, security, operational, or abuse risk;
  • required third-party services or browser store approvals are no longer available.

After termination, local extension data may remain in your browser until you uninstall the extension or clear the data.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by updating the website, extension, or account page.

The updated Terms will apply from the "Last updated" date unless a later effective date is stated. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

23. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have the right to bring claims in your country of residence and to rely on mandatory local consumer protections.

Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us at chris@xpresspurge.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
